Handsplit and Resawn Shakes...
Handsplit- the name itself refers that these shakes are hand-split and 'resawn' refers that they are re-sawn on the exposed face to give a more rustic and natural look. These are high quality shakes manufactured from western red cedar, known for its weather resistant quality, fine & even grain, longevity, tight insulation, etc.
These shakes are available in two grades, namely they are Premium Grade Blue Label and Number 1 Grade Blue Label. Here you can get custom cuts on your desired products.

Red Cedar premium grade shakes at Cedar Shakes 4 U are available in 18" and 24" lengths. 24" is the most common length. The most common thicknesses in use are ½" and ¾". Thicker shakes usually known as jumbos are available with custom cuts. |
